We are often asked how to clean a bounce house. Reality- outdoor toys get dirty! I thought I would show you how we do it at our house. Warning….. this is not like house cleaning ~ the kids are going to want to clean the bounce house every time they jump!
Step 1- Mix a mild soap (baby shampoo is what we are using) in a bucket.
Step 2- Throw it and the kids in the bounce house.
Step 3- Relax! (Let the kids do the work this time)
Step 4- Rinse & Dry (completely!)
Step 5- Store it
It can be a lot of fun turning your bounce house into a bubbly water slide, just make sure the soap is mild and gets completely rinsed.
Any thoughts, comments or ideas… please leave them in the comments on the upper right corner. We love to hear from you!

I think it is great that the kids can have so much fun cleaning the bounce house.
Good article. But your better to use a little water with simple green and lemon Lysol to sanitize the bounce house.
Odoban works good for sanitizing. It’s important to keep these things clean.
This is the reason I keep coming back to this place.
I can’t believe all the new stuff since I was here last!
Nice! New post! You’ve undoubtly been working on your writing skills. Good show
Thank you so much for the ingenuity of well – you!
Very cute video. Our kids aren’t as enthusiatic about cleaning bounce houses so we have to put a little “elbow grease” into them. Letting them dry completely is a must to prevent mold growth.
